ATOMIUM BRUSSELS

Gathering more than 600 000 visitors each year, the Atomium is one of the most popular attractions of Brussels.

Originally constructed for the Expo 58 (1958 Brussels World’s Fair), this landmark building in Brussels is hard to miss. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, this structure represents a magnified iron molecule measuring 102 meters (335 feet) high and weighing 2.400 tons.

Composed of 9 spheres, five of which are dedicated to exhibitions (permanent and temporary), the Atomium is one of Brussels MUST-SEE.

Do not miss the Atomium restaurant in the top sphere which has 360° panoramic views of Brussels. In order to access this top sphere, you will need to take the fastest elevator in Europe, moving 16.8 meters per second!

Capture that perfect Instagram moment with this ideal location for breathtaking views of the capital of Europe.

The Atomium is home to many concerts, film projections, events and conferences.
